Wifi and LAN causes problems

sorry for my bad english!

I bought the original Homey Pro Ethernet Adapter and connected it according to the manual. It now appears that the Homey is connected via WiFi and Lan. It freezes and slows down and Zigbee does not function at all. I have already tried everything, including turning off the power for half an hour. I have removed the adapter and reconnected it doesn’t seem to help.

It’s normal that the WiFi connection is still active if Homey is connected through Ethernet, and this almost certainly isn’t the cause for your issues.

Start by replacing the USB cable between the Ethernet dongle and Homey, the official cable can be of bad quality and can cause problems.

Are you sure that you connected the Ethernet adapter correctly? Problems have been reported several times, but the reason was almost an incorrectly connected Ethernet adapter.

Thank you for your message and for thinking along!

I solved the wifi problem thanks to this tip:

sorry, but it is not normal that wifi and wlan are both on. Athom also writes this in an email to me. Here is the tip to solve the problem: [HowTo] Connect Homey Pro (Early 2023) with Ethernet Only - aka Disable WiFi - #2 by Dijker

Yes, it is.

Athom don’t know their own product.

It literally says “the unofficial way”.

I will ignore the fact that an unofficial solution to this problem is being devised on the forum

I think it’s great that you know better than the creator and producer. I therefore suggest that they hire you and immediately declare you employee of the year!

They tried, on multiple occasions, but I declined :man_shrugging:t3:
