Hello Homey Community,
I’m experiencing an issue with the Mi-Light app on my Homey setup and would appreciate any assistance or insights you might have.
Problem Description: I’m trying to add my Miboxer 2.4GHz WL-Box1 to the Mi-Light app, but the app fails to recognize or add the device. Here are the specifics of my setup:
- Product: Miboxer WL-Box1
- Device: 60x60 cm LED RGB + CCT Panel Light
- Remote: Mi-Light FUT092
- Connection: 2.4GHz Wireless
What I’ve Tried So Far:
- Verified Power Supply: Ensured that the WL-Box1 is properly powered and the LED panel is functioning independently.
- Checked Wi-Fi Connectivity: Confirmed that my Homey hub and the WL-Box1 are connected to the same 2.4GHz network.
- Resetting the WL-Box1: Performed a factory reset on the WL-Box1 to clear any previous configurations.
- App Permissions: Made sure that the Mi-Light app has all the necessary permissions on Homey.
- Firmware Updates: Checked and updated the firmware for both Homey and the Mi-Light app to the latest versions.
- Manual Pairing Attempts: Attempted to add the device manually using both the app’s discovery feature and by entering the device details manually.
Additional Information:
- Homey Firmware Version: Homey Pro 2023 12.3.0
- Mi-Light App Version: 4.2.9
- Network Setup: I am running on Unifi Dream Machine Pro and Unifi U7 Pro AP’s
Error Messages: When attempting to add the WL-Box1, it seems to find the gateway however its not listed (blank).
Questions:
- Has anyone successfully integrated the Miboxer WL-Box1 with Homey using the Mi-Light app?
- Are there any specific settings or steps I might be missing during the pairing process?
- Is the WL-Box1 fully compatible with the current version of the Mi-Light app on Homey?
Conclusion: I’m eager to get my LED panel working seamlessly with Homey for better home automation. Any advice or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance for your help!
Best regards,
