Is there anybody out there, able to help me to get my Mi Light system in my Homey 2019. Over 30 lamps. Until now Homey is not living up to their promises!
I’m not able to help you with your problem as I don’t use Mi devices myself. But maybe you can provide some more information so that other users can understand exactly what problem you have and what you have tried so far.
You can use the information in the linked topic as a starting point:
I’m not sure if someone is still interested in getting mi-light lights working, but i found that it is also possible to add wl-box 1 by adding it in the tuya app or the smart life app.
After that it is possible to add it in Homey through the tuya cloud app.
I did it today and it works.
Hi Hugo,
The Tuya app is working with my MI Light configuration well txs for that!
How do I get this in my homey app?? the app needs to be configured and somehow I need to get a tuya official api access secret. How??? Grz Roel
Hi Roel,
I use Aqara motion sensors without the Aqara hub, using Homey Pro. I just donwloaded the Homey App for Aqara, selected the applied sensors and installed them. They work fine. Also I have MI light led strips. They are installed on my Philips Hue hub and therefore I can use Homey Pro as well to control those led strips since I installed the Homey App for Philips Hue devices in to the Homey App.
First install the Homey apps for the brands of the devices you want to use. Then select [Add Devices], select the proper App Brand, then select the proper device you want to add, select [Add] and you should be good to go. Not withstanding that it might be possible that some options of the devices will not be available due to the lack of the original hub of the brand of the devices you are adding.
Adding to homey, through the “Tuya cloud” app.
