Support request for DOMUS LINE MILLENNIUM CU-MD 4ZM D-M Zigbee controller

Hello,

I would like to request support for the Zigbee device DOMUS LINE CU-MD 4ZM D-M.

The device pairs successfully with Homey Pro (2026) and is correctly detected as:

  • Manufacturer: DOMUS LINE
  • Model: CU-MD 4ZM D-M

Homey identifies the device and communication works correctly, but it is added as an “Unknown Zigbee Device” because no dedicated Homey driver currently exists for this model.

The device is a 4-channel tunable white (CCT) LED controller. I have connected LED lights to all four output channels (OUT1-OUT4).

The Zigbee interview shows that the device exposes four independent Zigbee endpoints:

  • Endpoint 11
  • Endpoint 12
  • Endpoint 13
  • Endpoint 14

All four endpoints support:

  • OnOff (cluster 0x0006)
  • LevelControl (cluster 0x0008)
  • ColorControl (cluster 0x0300)
  • Groups
  • Scenes

The device therefore appears to be implemented as four independent Zigbee light endpoints.

Current behavior:

The device pairs successfully and can be controlled from Homey.

For both On/Off control and dimming, Homey provides a mechanism for selecting which channel/endpoint should be active. These functions work correctly. I can select any of the four channels individually, and the selected channel responds as expected.

However, color temperature control behaves differently.

Unlike the On/Off and dimming controls, the color temperature interface does not provide any ability to select the active channel/endpoint.

Because no channel can be selected for color temperature control, adjustments are always applied to channel 1.

To verify this, I connected lighting to all four outputs (OUT1-OUT4).

Observed behavior:

  • Channel selection works correctly for On/Off control.
  • Channel selection works correctly for dimming.
  • Color temperature control is only available once for the entire device.
  • There is no option to select endpoint/channel for color temperature control.
  • Adjusting color temperature always affects channel 1.

Based on the Zigbee interview, all four endpoints expose the ColorControl cluster and report support for color temperature mode. Therefore, it appears that Homey only exposes color temperature functionality for endpoint 11 (channel 1), while the corresponding functionality for endpoints 12, 13 and 14 is not available in the user interface.

Expected behavior

One of the following would be ideal:

  • Expose each endpoint as a separate light device in Homey.
  • Expose the four endpoints as child devices.
  • Allow endpoint/channel selection for color temperature control in the same way that channel selection is already available for On/Off and dimming.

This would allow all four channels of the controller to be controlled independently.

Relevant Zigbee Interview Data:

Manufacturer Name: DOMUS LINE

Model ID: CU-MD 4ZM D-M

Device Type: Router

Endpoints: 11, 12, 13, 14

Endpoint 11: Input Clusters: 0, 3, 4, 5, 4096, 6, 8, 768

Endpoint 12: Input Clusters: 0, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 768

Endpoint 13: Input Clusters: 0, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 768

Endpoint 14: Input Clusters: 0, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 768

All endpoints support:

  • OnOff
  • LevelControl
  • ColorControl

All endpoints also report: colorMode = colorTemperatureMireds

Please let me know if you need the complete interview output or any additional diagnostic information.

Please request apps in the dedicated topic:

Or here → Request a Brand | Homey

But then the community won’t be able to help out, since not all requests will be shown on that page either.

This is the official way to request an app from Athom.
So it’s just an additional way.
And that’s exactly what’s mentioned in the “Welcome to the forum!” thread:
