Support said the following: “I checked the behaviour of my own Homeys, and found similar behaviour. My best guess is that this is a repetitive background job that is necessary to either keep the system clean or running as intended.”
So it was just a guess. However, Homey have performance problems in those 5 minutes this goes on so I would say it is a firmware problem.
Why do they need to guess, they wrote the software themselves!
