Presence Detection Issues with Homey Pro (Android Devices)

Hi everyone,
I recently bought a Homey Pro and so far all my devices have been detected without any problems. However, I’m currently struggling with the Location/Presence feature.

I’m using an Android smartphone and an Android tablet. The tablet stays at home permanently, but I still want to use the Homey app on it. The issue is that presence detection is often reversed:

• When I leave the house, Homey marks me as present.

• When I’m at home, I’m marked as away.

I’d also like to set up my workplace as an additional location, ideally using either my phone’s GPS or Wi‑Fi detection. Unfortunately, I’m not sure how to configure this correctly.

Has anyone experienced similar issues or can point me in the right direction on how to properly set up presence and additional locations with Android devices?

The issue is that presence detection is often reversed

You should revoke location permission for the Homey app on the tablet to prevent it from updating the location

I would recommend Olisto for your use case. It’s a free mobile app that allows you to create automations (Triggs) for location events. You can create multiple locations, and you can set the radius.
