Presence/absence Android

Both my wife and I have an android phone. (Nothing Phone and Pixel 9) For me the presence/absence works fine, for my wife however it does nothing. Compared the settings together and they are the same on both phones and in the app. Does anyone have a solution?

Do you login to the Homey app with the same account on both phones?

We both have our own account.

Have you set homey-/away detection?
Link
and disabled all energy saving options and enabled all data usage (also in the background) for the Homey app?
Just long-press the Homey icon on the phone, click “i” and check settings for battery and data usage.

So donr, didn’t work.

Now I changed my wife from user to administrator… And it works

It did work for a day… Stopped working again…:face_with_peeking_eye::cry:

I don’t have an Android phone, so I cannot say anything android specific. However, I personally like to loosely couple my phone to homey. What I do is, I have created flows in homey to set the presence of every household member. These flows I can then trigger remotely from the shortcuts app in iOS. This way I can use iOS’s native location service to mark myself at home or away. I found this to be super reliable and (almost )never experience any issues with it. I think on Android you can use the Google Assistent app to do this.

On Android you can set a Homey widget called Homey Favorite Flows to start flows from the home screen.

But if your settings and permissions are correct, automatic presence works fine on both Android and IOS.
