Today, new Grillplats Matter plug appeared at my local IKEA store. I bought two and, to my surprise, I can’t connect them to HomeyPro.
The scanned QR code in the Add mode tries to search/connect, but unfortunately, I get an error message that the device can’t be connected. I’ve reset the plug, but that didn’t help.
Let me know if you’re also having problems with these new sockets?
I have the same problem with Grillplats and also with the new lamp Varmblixt.
Got 4 IKEA GrillPlats during this week…installed them to HomeyPro(2023) via Android…used Aqara Hub M3 as Thread router…. all 4 works great… no delay when ON/OFF 
Do you already have any other Thread/Matter devices connected? Sometimes you local network/router can be at fault if you are not able to connect to devices. Also try to restart both your phone and Homey and try again, that also has helped in the past.
I got myself two grillplats this week and get the same error when trying to add them. I got the bilresa matter remote installed since earlier and it works fine.
In the Ikea app the gillplats is not supported yet but will probable show up soon.

@Mikael82 It is not mandatory to install the Ikea app for Matter devices; they normally work without it.
Same for me. I tried with 3 today but no luck
Great information! This was driving me crazy, so I figured out how to install these sockets through experimentation. If you have an iPhone, select “Connect via iOS” when adding a Matter device. It detects the device very quickly, and the iPhone must be practically touching the socket during installation.

i was finally able to add grillplats to homey via android, but it did not work on my phone but worked with my tablet.
Thanks. It didn’t work with my Samsung phone but with Samsung tablet was it ok. All 3 are in now.

Not able to add either - not via homey or ios. Not sure why, everything else in the network works great - other matter products too?
Was able to get them into homey but added it to dirigera first (to get fw updates) and after that into apple home via iPhone and then to homey. Good 4 now.
But there is another issue in homey. The usage w is way off.
FYI But in in Ikea app it looks similar on the watt usage

I used the add device setup in Homey, but directly via the technology Matter setup. I didn’t use the Ikea official app. Then used the connect via Android setup. Place the phone very close (right next) to the socket and follow the logic order of steps.
Connected two Grillplats sockets to Homey yesterday.
The usage w is slightly higher than measured the Inspelling both connected to the same type of hue lamp.

Well I don’t use Android so I think a have to wait for the official IKEA app to fix this.
What I understand is that’s going to be Homeys job
