Nest Thermostat with email login

I have a nest, but use my own email to login (got it some time back).
Is there a way to connect the Nest to Homey Pro without using a Google login?

I don’t believe you could use it in any way without a Ggl account and having to login to Google at some point.

I do currently access/control it with my phone using a Nest account which isn’t a Google account.

Google acquired Nest, but you can use an email that isn’t a Google account to access it. Not sure if that’s grandfathered in or still an option.

Was hoping to continue with that and not have to use Google auth.

I see! I meant inside the Homey environment you’ll probably need Ggl account login.
