Namron – unble to add Zigbee GU10 bulbs

I have a Homey Pro running lates firmware (v12.2.1).

I have just bought the GU10 White (3802965) and Colour (3802967) and are unable to add them to Homey. I can add them to other gateways, so the bulbs are working.
I have one Zigbee device connected to Homey and that was added without any problems.

Bulbs blink one time after adding power stating that they are ready to pair.
Homey is searching for devices to add but are unable to find the bulbs.

I have tried adding as generic Zigbee device or through the Namron app.
I have tried factory resetting the bulbs.
I have tried holding the Homey centimeters from the bulb.

Any idea of what might cause this?

Have you tried factory-resetting the lights?

Yes, but no difference in behavior.
It looks like Homey can’t detect the bulbs at all (other non homey hubs detects them right away).

Try a reboot or PtP of your Homey.

That has not helped either unfortunately.
Also waited a while after pulling the plug so that all apps should have had plenty of time to load.

Resetting the lamp and then immediately pairing to Homey. As soon as you pair the lamp with another bridge, you have to reset the lamp again before pairing to Homey.

But this is about Namron lights?

Right. However, Zigbee lights can only connect to one bridge at a time though?
I removed the word Hue from my message.

I already asked about factory-resetting the lights, and it didn’t fix the problem.

I know, but I got the idea that after resetting all kinds of things are tried, including connecting to other bridges again. So I mentioned this just to be sure.

I have opend a support ticket with Namron and Homey to see if they can figure it out.

It does not matter if the bulbs are brand new and unused.

Have the same issue. Did you find a solution?

Unfortunately no, I got tired and replaced them with IKEA and that worked out of the box. Namron/Elektroimportøren support have not been able to find a solution to my problem.

Which gateways do you use? Do you have a Hue bridge?

Yes it is a HUE, and I can connect to this one, but I want it to function on Homey

You can add bulbs on the Hue bridge to Homey as well. If you add it to the Hue bridge (just click “No QR code” when adding the lights, the Hue bridge accepts any Zigbee light, even other brands than Hue), you can add them to Homey in the same way as your Hue bulbs (Add device → Philips Hue → Light in the Homey app)

Yeah, it looks like I’ll have to use the Hue Bridge; I just wanted to see if it was possible to use Homey, since Namron is supposed to work with it. Luckily, I have a Hue Bridge at home. Is anyone else having trouble getting the Namron and Homey combination to work?

There is another topic about it:

Hi Frode and welcome!

Your Namron Zigbee bulb should work with your Homey without an additional third-party bridge and even as a “Generic Zigbee Device”, so without the Homey Namron app.
But since you’ve already tried everything possible, the only advice I can offer is to contact the app developer and Athom’s support team.
