Philips Hue bulbs won't connect

Hi there,
I have just bought a Homey Pro (2023) after having used a Samsung Smartthings hub for years.

I am having problems getting all of my Philips Hue bulbs to connect. I have 18 bulbs in total, and can only get 5 of them to connect to the Homey.

So far, I’ve tried:

  • Manual reset of the bulbs
  • Factory reset by using a Philips dimmer switch
  • Searching for the bulbs with the “Philips Hue, without the bridge” app. Both the finished and the experimental versions.
  • Searching for the bulbs directly with the Zigbee app.

After resetting the bulbs the Hue dimmer switch, I can connect to the bulbs with the Philips Hue app, but Homey won’t.

I have also tested a new Hue bulb, and Homey finds this one immediately.

Have anyone here had this issue? Looking forward to any tips and suggestions.

Maybe you have some old Hue lamps, which don’t do Zigbee.

Which Homey App do you use. Without or with the Hue Bridge?

These ones are 2 years old. They were bought at the same time as the 5 I am able to connect.

Philips Hue, without the bridge. I’ve tested both the finished and the experimental version.

For the lights (zigbee routers) which have to be a direct zigbee child: pair them really close to Homey, like 2 centimeters.
