Im also lookimg to add Midea to Homey.
I am also looking for this integration. I have a locally-branded Rinnai Air Conditioner that uses the Midea NetHome Plus app for remote WiFi control. I would like to control it via Homey Pro (2023). I do note there is an IFTTT integration available, but haven’t tested this yet. See: Quickly connect NetHome Plus AC to Homey - IFTTT
Anyone have any luck with this. I have two midea window units I’d love to connect in
I also have 3 split airco’s which i would like to connect
Login, and request support for the brand (+ device) here:
https://request-a-brand.homey.app/boards/request-a-brand
Requested the brand since it seems it was not requested yet as far as I can tell / find
I have tried to contact Midea on several occasions but I just got passed around different email addresses until they stopped responding.
I presume they don’t have an official API and are not interested in providing one.
Would be very nice! I requested the brand aswell
Maybe homey could pull some strings via LG?
It is submitted. Will be public shortly. This works with my Carrier Airco’s.
It is live: Midea App for Homey | Homey
very nice ! thank you.
So far works great (minimal testing).
Not going so well for me. I can add my AC units but then they show an error:
Adding them to my Homey Pro 2019.
fetch is not defined looks like a version issue. The underlying fetch is part of the standard node package as of a later version of node. It works on my Homey Pro 2023. Maybe it has something to do with being a older Homey. I will see what I can do.
The good thing is that it has discovered devices and an AC has been added. This basically means that fetch has been executed at least once.
Got it… I am using the default fetch from node, which has been added in the standard node as of version 18. Homey Pro uses version 16. I will change it. Need to resubmit.
Did you login using a MSmartHome account?
Yes, and logging in seems to work. When I entered the wrong password it failed, but when it is correct it continues.
