I have a Landis+Gyr E350 non solar smart meter, I’m in Australia, has anyone got this connected to homey.
Yes I have, but I needed a Homewizard active splitter to make it work. Together with the Homey Energy Dongle ofcourse.
I had hoped there was way I use its own connection to the grid, my meter is too far away for any connection like wifi etc.
Maybe the discussion on the L+G e450 model can help: Compatibility between Landis and Gyr Smart meter (model E450) and Homey dongle
I had to realize that the homey energy dongle doesn’t support M-Bus. You might need a different device. I did choose whatwatt as it’s a Swiss device. It comes with Ethernet which would allow you to connect without WiFi.
