I am totally new, i just received my first homey today, (homey pro 2026). I am configuring my first devices. Installed the honeywell evo home app, i can add my thermostates and my evohome zonecontrol. i can sync them with google home. (so far so good). I can via voice command ask to google assistant what the temperature is in the kitchen. But when i ask him to set the temperature, he says its not possible. however, on the nest max touchscreen i can set it higher? any ideas what i am doing wrong, since i don’t see the difference why it works via the touchscreen, but not via the voice command. already unlinked few times the connections, reinstalled the app,..
maybe relevant;
using TCC home app on my phone
i have HR92WE thermostats
ATP921R3100 Honeywel Evohome system
yes, i can set everything via the homey app, i can set it manually via google hub via the touchscreen when i ask for whats is the temperature (the temperature pops op on the screen together with a + and a -, so i can click on it, and it sets +1 or -1,..) put saying set the temperature in the kitchen to 20° thats not working, then google says, i cannot set the temperature for this device..
I just tried to create basic flow for testing,
if this flow start, set kitchen temperature to 20°
saying to google, start flow heat the kitchen, the flow works.
so this wonders me more, why just saying set the temperature to 20° is not working as i expected, i must miss something ,
I say set temperature in kitchen to 20°. thats the same command i used when i linked total comfort to google home. i tried several ways now with virtual thermostats, i got it to work, but then when i ask whats the temperature in kitchen, it tries to give the temperature from the two thermostates in, ofcourse the virtual is not giving any. but i can set the temperature via the virtual thermosate with a flow. so i think it must be google that can’t handle the voice integration with homey. I went back for now with linking honeywell with google home.
