I have 3 Aquara humidity and temperature sensors. I installed them all 3. After some time 2 stop working. Batterys are full. 1 stays working. Have a Homey Pro Early 2018. What goes wrong. I have no clue?
I have one. Didn’t show batterystatus… Removed and repaired, didn’t do anything after that…
Now, after a week, suddenly it shows values again, still no battery though…
A switch says it used 5,2 kWh ?
Don’t think I like aquara anymore…
Remove / replace Ikea lights
Not just IKEA but Frient, too. Once all out, all Aqara just work, two months now without having to repair any, whereas before weekly.
Thank you for the replies! I have no IKEA lights. Do IKEA blinds too give problems?
Frient too ?
If so, Aqara goes out, not Frient.
I’ve got 1 Aqara sensor, 1 switch and 1 wireless button.
I’ve 5 Frient smoke detectors and 3 plugs…
Well, your mileage might vary. For me once I’ve removed all powered Frient devices all Aqara started working. About 4 years I have been resetting my zigbee network but no joy.
However, no problems at all on Home Assistant with any brand combination.
That’s correct, same here.
It is a problem of the combination of Aqara + (certain) Ikea (lights) / (some) other brand(s) + all Homey Pro models.
@ Homey: When an Aqara sensors starts to use an Ikea light f.i. as router, it can’t or won’t send updates anylonger. And worse, it also stops looking for other routers it could use.
Athom claims this is because of Aqara not meeting zigbee standards, and some Ikea devices responding funny on that:
For 2 days in a row, the Aqara sensor says its 8.6 C Indoor and outdoor, day and night.
I can’t rely in any way on the values it’s giving…
Tonight I’m gonna remove the most expensive part (the battery) and the aqara goes in the bin.
