I have adjusted the settings on my SS6’s as per the image below, on my HP23. Much improved. I have only had one fail since I did this. Athom say their developers are going to look at this next week. I also told them that we need this fixed as many flows rely on knowing the power usage of the devices.
I still get some metering messages but it is much reduced.
Did you send your response from AeoTec to Athom? I will when I get one. Surely Athom have a stronger relationship with them than we do so it should be up to them working together to resolve this issue.
i know this post is old but thought i’d chime in on since ive been having ongoing issues.
i’ve actually got an aeotec support ticket logged atm which ive just mentioned this post. the support engineer advised that the smart switch 6 amplifier are not very special. that was his exact words. to me that sounds like the range is not great.
mind you i did have the aeotec hub in the past with the same devices in the same positions without any issues. currently i have issues with the trisensors in particular stuck on motion detected or no motion detected. only way for it to work is to re-insert the batteries. if i dont check sooner the battery ends up dead.
atm ive only changed my report intervals on my powered devices. one of my trisensors i’ve also changed the report and wake up interval. its going to be a pain trying to change these settings for my z-wave devices and make sure the settings are applied
i guess if this is the only way for my devices to work efficiently then so be it. i was about to replace these devices with something else.
just reading the last few posts it sounds like not much improvement has been made by aeotec/athom.
