Homey Pro 2023 not coming online after router change (wired)

Anyone here got any experience on changing the router on a wired Homey Pro 2023? I was sure this would be a breeze since I kept the IP range and all, but nothing this far. It’s rotating the rainbow “screen saver”, which should indicate it’s happy and working - but I cannot access it, neither through the app nor through the website.

Thanks!

Do you know your Homey’s (new?) IP address in your local network? If so, try connecting to it via that address (so say it’s “192.168.1.123”, go to “http://192.168.1.123” in a browser).

None of the ports coming up in Angry IP scanner will let me connect to port 80

It’s up and running in the sense that my switches can control it, though.

I don’t necessarily trust network scanners, your router should have a list of devices which it gave an IP address.

If Homey isn’t among them, I would start checking cabling and/or see if you can get Homey to connect to a wireless network.

I don’t doubt your skills, but just to rule out the obvious: did you connect the ethernet adapter the right way?

Thanks. Now it’s wireless, if nothing else. Now I’ll have to try and find out if any equipment between it and the router is bad…

Thanks, but that should be covered. And one should never doubt anyones ability. Even professionals makes mistakes, so might as well mention things that are easy to do wrong - and yes, I did it incorrectly the first time

Ok, so I found the little gremlin!

Some time back I had overheating in my network adapter, so I got a new adapter and power plug. I tried the new network adapter now, but it still didn’t come online on the LAN. Switched power plug and it seems to be working!

Thanks
