Hello, the available RAM on my Homey Pro was stable (around 300 MB free). Starting the night of November 25th, it dropped drastically.
I took the opportunity to clean things up (deleting unofficial applications that were using a lot of RAM and weren’t essential, and while I was at it, deleting unused variables and flows – a good spring cleaning in winter).
I’m back up to around 300 MB free, like before. I got an alert from the Sysinternals app around 5 AM that there was less than 100 MB left, but it doesn’t show up on the graph.
Since I had an update around the 25th (I don’t remember the exact day), I was wondering if others have experienced a drop in available RAM in the last few days?
Most likely the different handling of RAM is related to the v12.9.0 firmware update, which was published around that time (refer to the release notes).
The (downward) spike you are referring to in available RAM might not be visible in your graph, as Homey starts aggregating insights after an hour. This would mean that that spike did not last long enough in order for it to show up in your multi-day graph.
Thanks for the link, the update does indeed mention memory… but it’s an improvement, not a worse one One day without any problems, I’ll see if it continues, otherwise I’ll contact the developers to find out more (if I can figure out how, in the app, the support redirects to the forum…).
If by ‘the app’ you are referring to the sysInternals app, then you can indeed contact the developer via app’s topic on this forum: [APP][Pro] sysInternals - Shows Homey’s System Internals. Just post your question there and tag the topic starter.
OK, I need to exit the application. Thanks a lot for the information For now, I’m still at 300 free, the same as before when there were more applications, but it’s not glitching and it’s not dropping below 100. So I’ll wait
