[Homey Mobile App](v7.1.0.1208) - TypeError: Cannot convert null value to object

When I try to access ANY om my installed apps (under …Mer (in Swedish maybe MOR i English)) in android phone I get a message that something is wrong and I get “TypeError: Cannot convert null value to object”

I realised this when I had to restart Gledopto app, but it is all my installed apps.

I have rebooted my Home Pro 2019, even took it off power for 5 minutes.

Guess you are running Homy Mobile App v7.1.0.1208
This is a know Issue and reported.

As workaround use the WebApp til the next Mobile App version is released.

Thanks for quick reply.

No, version 7.0.2.1203

And already the same error. So, the error existed in a previous version than 7.1.0.1208.

With the web app the apps are functioning correctly.

Had the same issue with 7.1.0 (1208)
The solution for me was to switch to an earlier 7.0.3 (1209) version until a new build is released.

Can you explain where you downloaded an earlier version?

EDIT: found it already. Available in Testflight.

EDIT 2: works like a charm now with the version you used.

When I first got my H23, I was unable to add any new devices. Then after a couple of days it started working again, possibly due to a software update.

However, now the same error pops up whenever I try to add a new device:

I choose add device, a spinner appears for a few seconds, and then: “TypeError: Cannot read property ‘iconObj’ of undefined”.

I have no workaround.

Homey: 10.0.0-rc.114
App: 7.1.0.1208 (Android)

It happened here as well today (and it’s fixed)

TypeScript ‘cannot convert null value to object’
This occurs on the mobile app home screen. All other (sub)screens like Devices, Flows work fine
App v7.6.21420 (Android)
Homey Pro 2019 v10.0.5
For now, I went back to app v6.11.14 (again).

On the v6.x app, I found the culprit real quick, the one tile of an app was empty, with a dottet square as icon.
It just showed at the home screen, without the beforementioned error @ v7.x
An app restart solved the empty tile;
after installing v7.x again, the error was gone.

Now I wonder, why does a newer app version, v7.6.x errors on just one tile?
