Homey Bridge set up factory reset

I tried to set up this hub which is really easy for me. I ran into a brick wall when I got to the part where I should connect to my router. It wouldn’t connect. The app always find the bridge but never connects to router. I have never put in my WiFi credentials.
If I only had a way to do a factory reset but not by the app.
What happens, the app will find the bridge, I click connect, then I get a warning that the bridge is disconnected and there are no other options than try again. It always fails
Àny advice should be helpful.

?? Please provide more info, We cannot guess which hub you are referring to.
Homey bridge? Homey pro 2019? Homey pro 2023?

What frequency do you try to connect to? 2.4? 5?
(Homey pro only connects to 2.4)

Does you router create both? And do they have the same SSID? that is also a common problem → rename or temporararily disable the 5gHz

If it’s a Pro 2023:
It"s all in the knowledge base

Oh Jesus,
I really meant to include it’s a Bridge. Sorry!

I have a Hubitat and think I will prefer the Flow interface much better.

I’m not a geek and that doesn’t help me with this stuff.

Any who, if I like flows I’ll go local, with a pro.

A never-connected-yet new Homey bridge doesn’t need factory reset. Your wifi gear probably is “too modern”. Yeah really…

This post below, aimed a the previous Pro model, contains important and useful info for the Homey bridge:
(TL;DR: the bridge expects an old fashioned 2.4GHz only wifi signal, like if it were 2001, along with a straight forward SSID, and a not-too-complicated password)

By the way, you don’t need a bridge to start using Homey Cloud.
It is only a box which extends Homey Cloud with local radio protocols like zigbee/zwave/Ble/IR/433MHz
