I’m looking for a CO detector and I hope someone can help. I have a Homey Bridge. I’m looking at the Fibaro, which is Z Wave+ and has it’s own app in Homey, or the Heiman which is zigbee but doesn’t have an app. Heiman is half the price of Fibaro. I want to know if the Heiman will work with zigbee and homey bridge or not or what the difference is between a brand having an app or not? If the Heiman will work I’m happy to save some money but don’t want to buy it and then find out it doesn’t.

Heiman does have a App but is a community app, therefore Homey Pro only.
Without an App the Heiman isn’t going to work on the Homey (cloud) with a Bridge.
OK thanks for letting me know! I was really confused because when you go to add a device you can choose ‘zigbee’ instead of the app (if there isn’t one) - do you know what the difference is by any chance?
Only generic profile probably works. Like on/off or Lights with Dim and/or Color.
OK thanks! As it’s a CO alarm I’m not sure what else I’d need other than ‘alarm is activated’.
On Homey this device needs to be supported by an App.
Fair enough - I guess that’s worth double the price!
Heiman z-wave CO doesnt’t work on Homey Pro 2023. It works on 2019.
I sell it and bought Fibaro CO and everything is working great.
