Homewizard Link Pro sensors and bulb and Homey Pro

Dear all,

Question my Homewizard link is defect and want to migrate to Homey Pro.

Is it possible to use the Smartwares pro door, switch, water sensors, Color bulb with the Homey pro?

No, you need the Link. You can get one for cheap in the starter pack here (€13)

You can use the devices with Homey Pro afterwards, just use my HomeWizard Link app

I tried already with another unused link but get always a “Server Niet Beschikbaar (503)” error.

So I am doubting if this is the link or an issue at the Homewizard server side?

For me it still works. Is the Link already setup in the HomeWizard Link app on your phone? Are both the Power and the Internet LED lit up solid blue on the Link?

Both blue leds are lit up solid.

The only thing I noticed is that when I now switched on the link the globe led of the link is immediately solid I recall that in the past it was initially blinking and after a while it went solid.

Where is the 503 error? In the HomeWizard Link app on your phone? What happens when you reset the Link to factory defaults (reset button between Ethernet and power ports)? Note that this will wipe your Link’s configuration, so you’ll need to set up your devices again.

The 503 error is in the HomeWizard Link app on my phone.

I tried to do reset, but I don’t if there a specific sequence. What I did when it was powered on I pressed the reset button for 10 seconds and nothing happened leds were solid all the time.

What happens if you unplug the Ethernet (network) cable while the Link is powered on? Does the Internet LED turn off? If it doesn’t, then it’s likely a hardware issue

Oh, and have you tried another USB adapter? The one that was included with the Link feels quite cheap, so use a good quality adapter

Hi Sven, using another usb adapter did that the startup behavior was the way I was used to :slight_smile: .

But then I still was not able to connect with app, although it was visible in the modem, then I removed the app restarted my phone disabled 4/5G reinstalled the app and then I was able to select the old link connection :slight_smile: .
