Google Assistant doesn't connect with Homey

When I try to connect google Home (assistant) with Homey it keeps saying that google isn’t linked to Homey. In the Google Home app i got the message that they arre connected.

is there another place where i need to connect Homey to Google Home?

Yes, when I want to link it it says “not linked with Google”. But google is linked with Homey??? The message keeps showing up.

Try to disconnect it, then reload Google Home app to be sure Homey is not there and trying pairing it again.

This morning I noticed that I was not able to run my Homey flows from my Google Nest Mini.
I have used the day trying to sync devices and remove the Google to Homey link, but it is still not working.

When syncing devices from Google Home i first get “Connected to Homey”, the a spinning loader for a while before I get an error message.
I removed Homey from the list of third party, and tried to sync again with the same result. After this Homey appeared on my Google account again, but the devices are still not synced.
I have also deleted the Google Home app from my phone, logged out an in again without success.

When trying to enable automatic sync from the Homey app I get the error message “not_linked_with_google”.

Any thoughts on how I get establish the connetion again, or is there an intermittent error going on on the Homey or Google side?

I had this also.
They only thing that works with me, was to remove the Google Assistent.
Then create a new house with a NEW email address (don’t use the old one!!).
And then i could sync with homey again.

The solution for me as well was to create a new home with a new google profile. So it has to be some bad state on my main Google profile.
This is not ideal, but by sharing my new home with my main home, it kind of works. Not ideal, but Google Home is not my main smart home app, that is Homey of course.
I only use Google home for my Google Wifi, and to set up a Nest Mini for voice control of Homey Flows.

And after about 10 minutes the error comes again.
Already enter a ticket wiht homey becaust this is a System Error.

Same problem here. Syncing or deleting or relinking services does not work in google home. Flows can not run from google. Creating a new profile should not be the solution for this problem…

Is there an update on this issue?

Not really but Athom is aware. Can’t confirm however if they work on solution. :person_shrugging:

Same problem here since a few days. The switch in de settings of the Homey app stays grayed out and i can’t switch it on anymore. In the settings in “https://my.homey.app” in my webbrowser the switch is on and also when I say: “Hey Google, synchronize my devices” Google does synchronize them and my flows using Google also work up till now. So it seems to be an app only problem. I installed the latest Homey (2019) update after which my Homey rebooted but that didn’t help.

Same here. Existing stuff still works, but my Homey (pro 2019) “thinks” it’s not connected anymore.

Same problem here, since several weeks now. I did, at some point, switch from Google Assistant to Gemini on my Google Home. Could this be the issue? I am certainly not going to delete my home and use a different email address…

Nope that’s not the cause of it.
