Can anyone explain to me what the following videoCore related metrics mean, that are displayed in the System section of the Homey Developer Tools page?
I updated today to Homey firmware v12.4.3 and since then, some of the undervoltage metrics report true. Before the update they were set to false.
Also the videoCoreUnderVoltageFalseCount keeps increasing. Before the update this was 0.
I have a Homey Pro 2023 (purchased end of June 2024) and am using the Homey Ethernet adapter.
I have read posts about the Homey power adapter not providing enough voltage. However those reports seem to relate to the initial batch of Homey Pros 2023. Also the metrics changed only after updating to v12.4.3.
I am not sure how to interpret these values. Maybe someone can explain.
Thanks. I saw those/your articles . In those posts however, the Homey seems to be constantly underpowered, if you look at the graphs presented.
In my case Homey still runs at 1,5Ghz and there is nu current undervolting situation. And the behavior occurred after the update only.
Also the videoCoreUnderVoltageFalseCount metric seems to be new, as I don’t see it mentioned/in the screenshots in those threads. I restarted my Homey and now all metrics are set to false again. Only the videoCoreUnderVoltageFalseCount metric is increasing.
There does not seem to to be a resource that describes those metrics.
