Experimental Virtual IP Camera and Hikvision

That is true, but you can take snapshots when encryption is disabled using http.(see my previous post)
rtsp is not so interesting for me as I don’t want to stream video (using Hik-Connect for this)
I think you may have mixed up file extensions (jpg/png) and transfer protocols (http/rstp/ftp)
what would be good is using the information the camera has (detection features) to trigger flows, in theory this should be possible by defining a Alarm adress in the camera/nvr. On homey create a web hook or something similar. But since I lack the real knowledge (besides a lot of trail and error) needed for this… maybe someone else might know. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I am working on an app for Hikvision which I will release soon as Beta. Have to fix some problems and add more features. App works also with self signed SSL

Triggering Flows with Alarms (Motion Alarm, Linecrossing Alarm, etc.) already works. Also adds the camera images which you can directly see in the Homey App and as tokens in Flows.
PTZ at the moment only zoom.

I can only add one device, I should add id for pairing.
