Eve Energy Matter - Not showing power consumption

Hello there,

I am new to the Homey family. I am using the newest Homey Pro. I have a lot of Eve Energy power outlets, that are all upgraded to version 3.5.0 (Matter). When I added them into my home, some of them will not show information about power consumption (I can’t even change what information I want to be shown as this menu i greyed out). Homey “thingk” the version is still 3.2.1. I resetted the outlets, still no luck.

Also the power outlets, that show the power consumption, don’t appear at the enery tab of the app. I can only find them in the group “top consumers”. Before I resetted my Homey Pro to start fresh, the would appear as individuall information directly under the house picture.

Unfortunately, Matter is still in the beta phase. You’re not the only one experiencing this. For example, Shelly Plugs do not display consumption data under Matter.
I can only recommend avoiding Matter if possible. The other wireless standards are still much more reliable.
I have tested various Matter devices. Not a single device has any advantages over Zigbee, Zwave or Wi-Fi, for example, when registered via Matter. The only thing you save is an app under Homey.
I think it will take at least another 1 to 2 years before Matter can compete with the other wireless standards.
