Ethernet disconnects randomly

Hello,
For a few days now, my Homey’s ethernet adapter has been disconnecting randomly and doesn’t reconnect unless I turn Homey off and, even then, it fails to reconnect more than a few times.

The yellow (blinking) and green leds are however on but no ethernet connexion.
I also replaced the ethernet cable to no avail.

How do you conclude there’s no Ethernet connection?

I also have another box (eedomus) which sole purpose is to monitor my main IP devices and reboot whatever is needed

Have you tried replacing the USB cable? The original one is known to fail.

Yeap, I initially had a faulty USB cable and Athom sent me a new one (though I also tried another other shielded one to no avail)

Have you also replaced the power supply?

Nope. I don’t have another USB-C power supply

It might also be the cause.

Did you allo so did a fixed lan-speed in place off Auto negotiate at your switch /router on the port where your Homey is connected. Might help to fix this to set this to 100Mb or 1Gb choose one and ket it have active for a while maybee it give some results

It is connected to a 1Gb port

And did you fixed the speed setting (not automated negotiate speed)

then maybee a test to fix the speed to 100Mb (just ajust the link speed)

I don’t have that option in my mesh router and Homey’s ethernet is the only device that’s beeing lunatic

Is the Ethernet adapter showing activity based on LED? If so, can you describe it.
Also your mesh router, is it capable of seeing port statistics, eg. Tx/Rx errors and similar?

As for USB-C cable, even you have tried new one, can you try one more and use shorter one?

The 1Gbps ethernet port specifications only allows for auto negotiate.
Most switches only support 10, 100 manual speed settings and duplex settings.
It might help to configure the Homey and switch to 100mbps full duplex.

What happens when the port on the switch is disabled and enabled when the Homey is not responding?
