Connected lamps and physical switch

Good morning,
I have a Govee lamp connected to the internet and managed locally via the API.
This lamp is controlled both by a voice assistant and a physical switch.
When I turn it off using the physical switch, the lamp obviously disconnects, and I can no longer turn it on or run flows that require the lamp to be online.
How can I best manage this situation?
Thank you.

Replace the switch by a (zigbee or z-wave) button, but do not connect it to the bulb (always on). When you push the button, switch the bulb via flow.
Is that easy enough to understand?

Yes, thank you, very kind.
The only concern I have is that if the central unit goes down for any reason, I will be left in the dark. Right now, I am using Fibaro dual-channel modules.
Do you have any ideas that I haven’t thought of?

That’s also the case with “dumb” lights?

Maybe you can put the smart light and the button in the same ZigBee group, then you can also control de lamp directly.
That way I control my RGB-led controller via Homey ànd a remote control.

Edit: I use Zigbees TouchLink to control my RGB-led controller directly from my remote control. I don’t know Zigbees group can do the same, but what I read about Ikea devices switching other lamps directly, something must be possible.

Hi Robert, not for those, they are physically connected to the Fibaro module.
So the relay still passes electricity to them

But I have a Fibaro relay switch that, when activated, cuts power to the smart lamp. I could turn it back on, but it wouldn’t immediately reconnect to the network.

Grazie!

That is definitely not what I mean.
You want to be able to control your lamp from Homey and your wall switch. So your wall switch shall not switch the smart lamp. So you connect your smart lamp to the mains directly.
This remote control claims it is able to control HUE smart lamp by ZigbeesTouchLink.
So I am thinking this way, and looking for a wall switch that supports Touch link.
Fibaro’s Associations seem to support something similar, but then you have to use a non smart lamp. You have to read the manual if you can connect/disconnect the sensor function from the actuator function, allowing the non smart lamp to be controlled by hand (without involvement of Homey) using the sensor function and by Homey using flows to control the actuator.

Good morning, for this issue I’m trying the Sonoff ZBM5 SwitchMan switches… THEY DO EXACTLY WHAT I NEED!

The problem is that they don’t seem to be fully compatible — has anyone tested them? Is there any workaround?

Hi Gabriele.
It is wonderful that you found a solution.
Please tell us a bit more: How did you connect the SONOFF buttons (which App), and what are you missing for full compatibility?
Those who have a ZBM5 might know, but all others of us want not know any issues before we buy them.
Many thanks Dirk
