Lamp that has been physically toggled on/off destroys the flow

Both my bedroom and living room consist of 3-5 lamps in a group. They both have one lamp that can be physically toggled on and off. If someone accidentally uses this switch on either of these lamps they will not work as intended. I have zigbee switches for turning on/off everything in the bedroom and living room, including these lamps. After being physically turned off once, they will not work the other ones. I have fixed this problem by adding the lamps again and creating a new flow.

  • All lamps are connected in hue
  • I have tried to add all the lamps in a group using the < Group > App
  • I have tried adding every lamp to the flow using the Hue App

Have anyone experienced the same and found a good way to solve this? Thanks!

What do you mean by physical turned off? Turn the power off? If so, never turn off the power of a smart device.

Connect the switch to the zigbee switch, so the physical switch wil switch the zigbee switch and not the lamp.

If that’s not possible disconnect the physical switch.

You should not need to re-add the lamp after being turned off and then on.

I have the same problem with physical switches on the cord to the lamp. I used tape to keep others from turning of the lamp. You could also remove the switch if possible.
