Connect myggbett to homey

I cannot connect myggbet to homey via matter.

Cannot to connect to thread.

Can somebody help me?

Why not give it a try using the search function?

Everthing i find does not work

Hi!

I had the same problem. Then I left the connection dialog open and start to read this forum after approx 10 minutes I got a message from homey that Myggbett was connected. Apparently it’s a very slow process .

Br, Bengt

Did you make a connection with homey or you smartphone?

I connected via Homey. I also removed the battery and restarted Myggbett before i managed to get it connected.

Did not work for me.

i have the same problem with 10 Myggbett Sensors - Timeout when connect to the Thread Network.

I only get 2 to connect to my HP23

Same problem. Of 4 devices I have only been able to connect 2, the others have been impossible to connect. They stay “adding to matter” or in some cases “asking for matter resources.” These devices are very bad (very very very very bad).

In the meantine - with the last firmware of my hp23 installed - i connected all my myggbett to homey. Abd they all work fine for the last two weeks

What is HP23? My Homey Pro 2026 has version 13.1.0 and I have had many problems configuring the MYGGBETTs. Now I have already achieved it (after restarting them more than 30 times each), and it seems that they have been well configured and stable.

but they would also drop off after minutes of inactivity? you just restarted the sensors multiple times?

Homey Pro 2023

Erik, I too have the exact same problem.

Has anyone got a definitive solution that was having trouble before and now got myggbett to connect? I’ve tried rebooting HP23, fresh batteries installed, reset myggbett before trying to connect, myggbett essentially touching HP23. Makes connection via bluetooth and hangs on adding to thread network. Error: “Unable to connect. Could not connect the device to the Thread network. Please try again.”

I have 6x Timmerflotte temp/humidity sensors that connected flawlessly. All 8 of the myggbett devices I have the same failure to connect problem.

Not that it’s the same problem, but after it connects, it stops reporting after 3 ish minutes, and then it randomly works and doesn’t work. It’s deffo a homey issue though, as I’ve noticed it works perfectly with the ikea app

Hi, sorry for the HP23
You said, you use the Ikea APP. Do you use the Ikea Hub as a thread border router?
I only use Homey as a thread Border Router. No ikea hub.
With the last firmware there are no problems, if they paired. For pairing i needed some tries…

Yeah I do use the Dirigera as the thread border router, as I am using Homey SHS.

Did anyone find a nice trick or workarround?

Or asked IKEA for troubleshooting?

Setup for me would be no other hub/router besides Homey Pro.

I actually came across a very specific Reddit thread that might have to do with all of this.

IKEA has reportedly recognized an issue specifically affecting battery-powered devices (like motion sensors and shortcut buttons). This is when their dirigera is being used as the matter border router. It appears the root cause is an IPv6 routing issue within the Dirigera hub itself, and they are supposedly working on a fix.
