ik verbind eerst alle nieuwe componenten met de ikea app zelf
daarna open ik homey en lees ik in 1 beweging alle nieuwe componenten in homey
Just as a side note, I am able to add the sensor to Apple HomeKit for some reason.

Interesting, although yet to discover if I received a faulty or damaged in transit Homey Pro, but it took two days for me to connect a dozen or so IKEA devices, to the Homey Pro.
However, once obtained a matter capable Apple TV, it took twenty minutes!?
Think Homey has an issue?
This did the trick. update ikea app, then i went to ikea app and restarted it and immediatlky after 2 days of fighting i worked.
yep, that is how I do it: connect Matter devices to Homekit first and then share them to Homey. Added advantage is that you will get OTA updates via Apple Home every now and then.
