I can’t pair the lamps with homey bridge. And because it’s a small room the only thing I have to pair are those lamps.
Why not? Are you getting errors?
If your room is small you don’t need additional routers.
I added the innr bulbs in June and they worked fine. Somehow the Homey bridge lost the lights completely so I tried to add them again. I reset them by switching them on 6 times until they blink twice. The bridge doesn’t find any of the 3 bulbs.
Have you taken the bridge off power for a while already?
Yes.
And I tried a new bulb out of the box and that isn’t working also.
Perhaps time to contact the INNR app developer or Athom.
Not add them directly and move?
Some devices don’t get coupled indirectly , only direct. Had this yesterday with a sonoff door sensor that homey “forgot” ![]()
So this morning i tried to add a Osram gu10 light. It worked!
And the most weird thing… I could add my innr products after that too. A bit sad i don’t know what was the issue now that caused these innr products to not to connect to homey.
THIS, after two hours of frustration, this post helped me; removing and re-adding another zigbee device and after that the INNR OPL where added in a heartbeat.

I have the same problems.
I have a Innr SP220 smart plug that does not want to connect to Homey (Pro 2023).
If I try to connect it to Hue Bridge it works directly, but on Homey it is no go.
I added a Hue Wall Switch directly to Homey (=Zigbee) which worked like a charm.
Unlike what I read here, I could not add the Innr plug thereafter.
The solution to connect it via the Hue Bridge works fine as I can see devices connected to the Hue Bridge in Homey, but it does feel like an unnecessary workaround.
There’s something odd concerning Innr & Homey.
I’ve read the Innr guys published a firmware update to fix it.
Is your Innr device running the latest firmware?
Another thing to try: there is a test version available of the INNR app for Homey. You might want to try if pairing with that version makes a difference.
Hi Peter,
Thanks for your reply.
How can one upgrade the firmware version of a device that is not connected to its native hub?
I mean; Aqara devices can only be firmware upgraded when connected to an Aqara hub. When connected to Homey, I have not found a way to upgrade the firmware of these devices. I would expect the same to be true for all smart devices and hence for the Innr devices.
This would mean that I need an Innr hub to upgrade the firmware of the Innr smart plug.
Correct, it’s still not possible to OTA update your devices with Homey…
As far as I know, issues that were solved with recent INNR firmware updates related to the way power consumption was reported and whether the power measuring functionality keeps working after the plug was unplugged/lost power. Also refer to this post: INNR SP240 smart plug - #76 by SunBeech. I am not sure whether the firmware addresses the inability to pair devices to Homey.
Note that the above applies to the SP240 plugs. Not sure whether the same applies to the SP220 plugs. I checked whether there are firmware update files available in the INNR section on the Zigbee2MQTT firmware repository, but I do not see any references to the SP220 plug.
You are right: you’ll need the Bridge (INNR’s Zigbee hub) or a generic solution, like Zigbee2MQTT + a Zigbee-adapter, in order to update firmware of Zigbee devices. Unfortunately that is not possible via Homey. INNR, by the way, was in the process of enabling their Bridge to perform firmware updates for smart plugs. Not sure whether that functionality has actually been added by now. Most likely the Zigbee2MQTT path is your only real option if you want to update firmware. But again, I am not sure whether there actually is a firmware update for the SP220 plug.
Other options are:
- Contact the developer of the INNR app for Homey (see contact details on the INNR app page in the Homey app store);
- Reach out to Athom support: https://homey.app/support/.
I have the same problems with INNR lightbulbs (RB266).
A while agoo my INNR bulbs starts losing connection all the the time with my Homey bridge. After contacting INNR support, they suggested the cause was old firmware on the bulbs and were so friendly to send me a INNR bridge. With that bridge I updated the firmware of my bulbs.
But with this new firmware I can’t connect the bulbs to Homey at all anymore. I tried it with both the INNR stable app as the experimental version v2.1.52 (mentioned before in this thread) and also without the app as a Zigbee device. In all instances it recognizes a new device “Apparaat wordt ondervraagd” but then consequently is not making connection “Kan geen verbinding maken” (see pictures).
I hope INNR and Homey (both Dutch companies?) will start working together in solving these issues….
How many Zigbee devices are paired with the bridge at the moment?
- tado thermostaat en 5 radiatorvalves
- 2 hue e26 lamps
- 3 lidl gu10 spots
- 2 aqara movement sensors
- 2 marmitek contactsensors
- 4 lidl smartplugs
- 1 ledvance smartplug
- 1 samsung tv
Are you sure those are all Zigbee devices?
Except from Tado they are all listed under Homey Developer Tools under Zigbee.
