Thank you. I see what you mean, but what I’m saying is I don’t even get the option to attempt to pair it via matter, not via the Tapo app.

If it’s Matter-over-Thread, you’d have to have an up-and-running Thread Border Router in the house. For example, certain apple and google devices act as TBR, just use your fav search engine to find out. Matter or Matter over Thread devices work even without an app, provided that the existing Matter version supports this device. This means that no Homey app is necessary.

Yeah this whole rabbit hole is because Homey doesn’t currently support the Tapo S515 switch, but the switch is able to use Matter. And, I really don’t want to rip it back out of the wall… haha
