[bug?] all multi-click-activated flows no longer working

Hi, something weird happened here: all multi-click-activated flows stopped working. Well, the flows work when activated manually from the app, but they are no longer activated as they used to through in-wall modules.

I have a set of z-wave fibaro modules behind switches as well as Shelly din rail modules (via lan). Several have flows that start when double or triple clicking. All of a sudden, none of them work anymore…

Suggestions?

Best, Jasper

Hi Jasper

i experience exactly the same with Fibaro Dimmer 2. I did not change anything in the config, so it must be wrong due to the last Homey update.

Please have a go at testing your motion detectors. My Devolo Z-Wave motion detector isn’t responding anymore. Temperature and light levels are being transmitted, but the motion detection just isn’t working anymore.
I also suspect that the new firmware is to blame.

Can you elaborate? I can’t figure out what the trigger would be.

By manually activating flows, you simply temporary replace the original trigger(s);
This means you’d check the trigger devices functionality, like @Undertaker already suggested.
When the malfunctions seem firmware related, you’d revert to the previous firmware (only possible when you create offline backups prior to each firmware update).

Disable auto-updates!

@Jomi, thank you for your confirmation - sorry to hear you are on the same boat.

@Peter_Kawa, see screenshots below

First one is Shelly din via LAN, second is fibaro z-wave. Both no longer work.
As mentioned, manually triggering the flows (bypassing the event trigger) still works, so the flows themselves are ok. I tried replacing the trigger cards with new ones, that did not work.
Current version: 13.2.0-rc.2

I see! Now I get the picture

Same here. Started with this firmware version a few days ago. Fibaro dimmer 2 mostly here. Scene activation on double or triple click completely broken

I have the same, double click on Fibaro is not working anymore. Did someone of you already created a ticket for this with Homey?

Actually, it typically helps to speed up things if multiple users report the same issue. You can reach out to Athom for support via:

@3JL, @Jomi, @kadettilac, as for the issues with Fibaro devices, please also check out the Homey Fibaro App thread (link), where there are already reports of similar problems.

Yes, but please also contact Athom support directly, as @SunBeech already mentioned.

Yep, I created a ticket with the double-click issue - which stopped working with the last Homey release.

I got confirmation that the Athom team is aware of the issue and working on it!

Same problem for me. Such a shame for that brand…

Which brand? Homey/Athom or Fibaro?

Have you installed the experimental firmware v13.2.0-rc.x on your Homey?

Brand → Athom/Homey. I would agree they seriously dropped the ball on this one…

I have not tested betas

I replied to @Bento’s post:

Don’t know why it’s not displayed… :man_shrugging:

I wrote experimental firmware, like it’s officially called by Athom:

As far as I know, beta is one step before that.

In post #5 you wrote this:

Athom explicitly states that it is not recommended to install experimental firmware versions on a production system. If you ignore this warning and install an experimental firmware version anyway, you will have to deal with problems for at least some time.

So, in my opinion, there’s no reason to criticize Athom.

Apologies - now I see your point.

I wasn’t even aware myself I was on an experimental release.

Best, J

No problem, that can happen.
