Bosch-Siemens Home Connect - connection issues

Hi,
I’ve connected my washer and my dryer to Home Connect and that works well. However, when I try to install the Homey app (Bosch-Siemens Home Connect) it seems to be impossible to pair.
Is it anyone having any pairing problems and eventualy have some tips/ideas how to do?

Did you try to restart your Homey and then try to add the devices again?
There are multiple topics of the Home Connect app, did you also use the search funtion? I think you already did, just asking.

That means what exactly?

Please provide more information: [Tip] Problems with Homey?

When I have chosen the Bosch-Siemens Home Connect app and Dryer (or Washer) I’m asked to log in on the manufacturers web page.
After written uid and my psw (singelKey id) I’m being re-routed to Home Connect where I admitt a few rules. So far all is good.
In the next step I can close the page with the homey symbol.
Finally, next page show a spinning wheel which I understand as a symbol for something in progress. However, nothing more happen and the process stop att this step.

Are the Bosch-Siemens devices and Homey on the same WLAN/LAN network?

Yes, TP Link Deco M9+

Just noticed that a test version of the app is available…

Bosch-Siemens Home Connect | Homey

…but nothing in the changelog refers to your problem. Nevertheless, I would try this version.

What you can also try is to:
– delete the official app and install the test version, instead of installing the test over the official version
– restart the app first and then try to add the devices
– restart Homey (@Mike1233, I guess you meant “restart” and not “reset”, didn’t you?)
– contact the App developer

Thank you! I’ll try the test version!

Yes, I meant restart. Changed it. :+1:t2:

Hi,

Air heat pump control is not part of the Bosch / Siemens Home Connect package. Is there any information that the possibility of controlling the air heat pumps via Homey is coming on some schedule?

Climate Class 6101i, 8101i and 9101i

I know that the device can be controlled via Sensibo, for example, or an EPSHome project can be used to control it. The latter of these is a rather tricky “Nerd” tuning.

However, if possible, I would like to control the device directly through Homeyn because it has Wi-Fi capability and can be controlled with a mobile app. :+1:

I know it might be very late, but just in case it helps someone.

I had exactly the same issue as described above. Everything worked instantly on another device (android tablet).

Then I tried again on my phone, switching the default browser from Chrome to Edge. And this time it worked without any problems.

So it seems like something’s going wrong with passing authentication/permission from Chrome to the Homey app.

In the meanwhile there are now more problems with the app.
The app is not working for a lot of people anymore.
For 2 weeks or so, resetting the app once a day was enough to work just fine.
After the last update it is for me and a lot of other people not working at all.

That sounds pretty bad…

I updated to latest experimental version (3.2.71) last sunday, let’s see how it behaves.

It has refused point blank to work for me for more than a year, have emailed support several times and nothing. I have tried “repair” dozens of times and the process goes through with no indication of fault but the device information does not change/update. It used to work once if Homey was PTP’d but that was all

It’s a bit strange, I haven’t seen any other issues apart from that initial hiccup with the connection. But, alas, I haven’t been using this app for very long.

I will keep an eye on it and see how things develop.

.

Same issues here. Somewhere in this thread someone advised to create a flow to restart the BSH app every night which would also update data. That seemed to work for a long time but since a few weeks, updating data seems impossible..

For me, updating the data at night still means that it can’t be used in flows when it is actually needed. for me it is another app in Homey (Pro early 2019) that no longer works

I’ve been using this app a lot and aware it hss some strange issues that require a regular reboot but for last 2-3 weeks even with nightly reboot, most of the alerts for dishwasher and washing machine fail. If you go into Homey and restart App they all come through as if they were queued but within a few hours it has hung again.

I notice it was updated recently, tried the experimental version but its no better.

Is anyone else having issues with this right now?

Cheers Darrell

Yes, I have similar Issues with my washer and dryer. Restart the app works sometimes. At least once a week i have to “repair" the devices in Homey.

Yes, i restart the App every hour.
