I use treat and matter. No app needed

I used matter, just with homey. Connected within a few seconds. No Aqara hub or app needed, unless you want to update firmware. Works like a charm.

Okay I ordered mine today. Do I still need the Aqara app on my phone? Or can I connect it to Homey directly as a matter device?

Got 1 i ordered yesterday. Today i wanted to order some more, but already sold out everywhere…. It worked fine with Matter and Thread, but not much config options. That is why i hope they will add this to the Homey Aqara app real soon….
