Hi,
I noticed that the “Update device class to…” Flow action card is available for Any Shelly Cloud Connected Device and Any Shelly WiFi Device, but not for the Z-Wave (Wave) drivers.
My Shelly Wave Pro Dimmer 2PM is currently registered with a device class that doesn’t show up as a Light (it doesn’t appear when selecting devices for a Mood / Zone light controls). Since the WiFi/Cloud devices already have a working “what’s plugged in” / device class override, would it be possible to add the same option for the Wave Pro Dimmer 2PM (and ideally the other Wave dimmer drivers)?

The card isn’t there because it’s not needed. You should be able to configure the “What’s plugged in” in its settings.
I can’t find that setting or dropdown in my device setting of the Pro Dimmer 2PM. I’ve found a work around by creating a virtual class through the Homey Developer Tools. Now i finally can create moods. If you have an easier solution for it, let me know 
You can check the device class on Homey Developer Tools. It should be socket; if it isn’t you can re-add it to make it a socket, and than the settings should become available.

I have an EcoFlow x Shelly Plug S which is not recognized by the Homey Shelly app. The device is working fine on the local network and the RPC API responds correctly.
Device details from /rpc/Shelly.GetDeviceInfo:
Model: EF3PL-00112EU
App: PlugSG3EF
Gen: 3
The device announces itself via mDNS (_shelly._tcp) as shellyPlugSG3EF- with app=PlugSG3EF. It uses the exact same Gen3 RPC API as the standard Shelly Plug S Gen3 (S3PL-00112EU / app=PlugSG3).
The fix should be minimal — adding PlugSG3EF (and optionally EF3PL-00112EU) to the device type mapping, pointing to the same driver as PlugSG3.

i have a shelly gen3 dimmer 0/10v i use it to control the speed of a ventilator but it shows as a light on the homey app what is very anoing because now it always says 1 light on. how can i change it?
I have been using the Shelly app with my devices with success. Recently all my Shelly devices (mainly Pro 4PM relays) have been updated to firmware v2.0. Since the update happened, most of the time manual and automatic switch actions (by flows) fail silently. After repeating the failed switch actions, they start to work after some tries. No changes happened on the Homey side.
Shelly app version is v3.64.1. All Shelly devices are protected by password.
While investigating this issue I pinpointed this message in the affected device logs:
hos_http_server.cpp:551 0x3ffe0e98: /rpc/Switch.Set: Auth: 401: stale
After some searching, it seems that Shelly firmware v2.0.0 implemented Nonce handling, and the failed switching happens because the Homey App seems to not implement nonce handling correctly.

- Stale nonces: When a nonce expires or exceeds its usage limit, the device returns a
401response withstale=true, indicating the client should obtain a new nonce without re-prompting the user for credentials.
This bug makes using Shelly devices (on firmware v2.0.0+) with Homey absolutely unpredictable.
After updating several of my Gen4 and Gen3 devices to the 2.0.0 firmware, I ran into several communication issues as well: issue 1 and issue 2 Though I think different than yours.
I switched to the new Shelly Control app that uses a different connection logic. This fixed the connection issues I had.

A warning for all users
If you are using this app, do not upgrade to 2.0.0 firmware! This especially holds when you are using authentication with your devices. As @jkondas mentioned, this is related to the authentication changes in this major firmware update.
Have you updated already? Try the new Shelly Control app, which you can find at Shelly Control | Homey. We are working hard on making this officially available, it is currently pending review by Athom.
Im really struggling to get pir to trigger a flow

I have added a Shelly 1 gen4 as a garage door opener works just fine regarding opening and closing, but the black add on module that is supposed to show a open/close status in Homey doesnt show any status. It works fine in the shelly app, shows open/close status, but i cant get it to show status in Homey pro.
I tried adding the Shelly module as matter device and also tried as “any wifi device”
Does anyone know anything about this issue?

The second one is still in beta, but focusses specifically on recent gen devices and contains improvements compared to the Shelly app. If you are using the Shelly app, then you might want to check out the Shelly Control app.

I’m using Shelly Allterco Robotics from Homey app store
That’s the initial app. You may want to try the newer one: Shelly Control (also by Allterco Robotics and maintained by Drenso).
I bought two Shelly Dimmer Gen4 devices and one Shelly i4 Gen3. I checked the list of supported devices, and both models are listed.
However, when I try to add them to Homey, I cannot select these models from the device list. The only dimmer available is the Shelly Wave Dimmer. Mine are the regular Wi-Fi versions, not the Wave versions.
How can I add these devices to Homey?
You need to use the “Any Shelly WiFi Device” device.
