[APP] Shelly Control - Smart home automation is that easy!

Hi

The Flood S Gen4 does not display the battery status. (0.15.1)

Is the Shell i4 going to be supported ?

You can reach out to the developers via the contact details mentioned in the first post or on the app’s page in the Homey app store, to request support for your model.

Yes, every gen2, gen3, gen4, BLU and Wave device will be supported with this app. We cannot comment on the exact timeline, older devices will be prioritised based on the amount of requests we get.

You have chosen to use Matter to link it with your Homey, and that doesn’t expose the battery level. Nothing we as Homey app developer can do about that, but you can! Just use the LAN integration instead, it offers far more functionality than the Matter one.

appears that i need to use this app now but i cant see shelly em listed? i believe have the first generation. is that going to be supported at all?

ive also got a shelly button1 wifi which doesnt appear to be a device i can add either. any support for this?

No, you do not need to use this new app, you can keep using the old app if you want and your devices are supported by it. For Gen1 devices you can actually only use the old, as Gen1 will not be supported in this app.

saw your response in the other forum post for the legacy app. appears after the update to set it to legacy its no longer installed as i cant restart it. its listed as installed though. ill see what happens when trying to install it. i have a bunch of flows and it will be disappointing that i have to go buy a newer generation. in australia we need a licensed electrician perform any electrical work.

fingers crossed i can get it working.

hopefully gen1 devices are supported in the new app. i am thinking about buying some more shelly devices. will be annoying 2 run 2 shelly apps.

got the old app working again. had to install and even restart homey. fingers crossed older shelly devices are added to the new app in future.

Good to hear that a restart made it work again :+1:t2: Gen1 will not be supported with this new app, as stated in the FAQ in the opening post (Gen 2+)

That is correct, Gen1 devices will not be supported with this app. Once all other devices that were supported are supported with Shelly Control, we will rename the old app once again to “Shelly Gen1” to make that even clearer.

apologies i should have read the first post up top. been a long day. all i saw was the app stopped working and i was about to punch a hole in the wall. all the flows ive set up… just glad the legacy app will continue to run.

apologies i should have slowed down and not panic… hahaha… ok great to hear. when i saw legacy i thought the app was going away as i couldnt even restart the app. said it was not installed which was very odd for an app update. never happened before.

Everything works perfect with my gen 3 and gen 4 1pm and 2pm modulles.

Is it possible to add Pro 1PM (Gen2+) and i4 (Gen3?) Thanks in advance!

Shelly Pro 3EM not detected in the new app (cloud.shelly.control)

In the legacy app (Shelly Legacy), the Shelly Pro 3EM (triphase profile) was detected automatically and added through the generic “Any Shelly WiFi Device” driver, which exposes the data via the em:0/emdata:0 RPC components.

In the new app, that generic driver no longer exists — every model needs its own dedicated driver, and the Pro 3EM didn’t have one yet. So pairing simply failed, since no driver would recognize the device.

I dug into the source of both apps and confirmed the issue. I forked the repo and opened a PR adding native LAN support for the Shelly Pro 3EM (triphase profile), with data parity verified against Home Assistant’s official Shelly integration for the same model (SPEM-003CEBEU) — current, voltage, power, apparent power, power factor, frequency, and energy (consumed and returned) per phase A/B/C, plus the totals.

Already tested and validated (homey app validate --level=verified) against a real Pro 3EM.

Shelly smoke detectors with firmware 2.00 are not able to be selected, they also don’t show up any longer in the legacy app

Hi

Is the shelly X2i display going to be supported?

As currently I have added it via the legacy app but it only supports the first relay and not the second one as I have a double relay module on my X2i

Thanks

Eddie

Did you write to the very e-mail address that you quoted in your post? Because that’s the way to request support

I have sent email to homey-shelly-control@drenso.nl

Perfect. I wasn’t sure because you posted your request also here in this topic .

does the new shelly control app also regonice a add-on module on a shelly gen4 running on zigbee?

I have an issue with my pm mini gen 3. it was running in the legacy app,

since yesterday the power / energy… was not reflected anymore in homey. so checked the shelly app and it was still connected… restarted the app, restarted homey, restarted the device no changes.
so removed the shelly from homey and tried to re-add in the legacy app → timeout
so updated the firmware to 2.0 tried to add in this app → no success, even in finding the device
can still see the device to add in the legacy app but always results in a time out…

any thoughts on this ?
