[APP][Pro] Xiaomi Mi Home App

Yes I have removed and added it again. Yes I got the right ip and token from the device. It’s the only xiaomi device I have so. If the ip is wrong it doesnt add. token is copy paste so cant be wrong. But i removed it and added it another time and send the report.

Now I see it : Unknown model (xiaomi.feeder.iv2001)

…never been supported yet, seems to be the CN variant of the feeder.

hello, i have just bought a smart switch (wifi) and i was wondering if it is compatible with homey xiaomi app?

Hi, please check the OP for the list of supported devices

This Xiaomi SmartMi Humidier v2 (Wifi) app is working fine now, but the “The tank is empty” notification is not working properly. It does not tell you when the tank is empty. It says the tank is empty when you remove the tank from the device.

Haven’t seen any logs submitted…so hard to say. Moreover, to manage expectations, please read OP.

Based on your log, you are using Mi Smart Antibacterial Humidifier JSQ2W - please test latest TEST version - https://homey.app/a/com.xiaomi-miio/test/

v3.4.13 - Fix for Mi Smart Antibacterial Humidifier JSQ2W - the tank is empty

Hello! I’m getting an error installing this app. How can I fix it?

It means you have some problem with your connection and your Homey availability - problem is unrelated to this app as such. Try logout, login, try another browser, try installing it from mobile phone…if problem persists, try different app and I guess it will be still failing - in such case, contact Athom support.

Hello. thanks for replying. Have now tried installing other apps and it worked fine. I only get errors when I try to install this app. Could there be some other solution?

Might be obvious, but still:
Did you select the right Homey?

It’s not app related.
The app installs just fine at my Pro 19, a minute ago:

Hello,

I have now tried resetting my router and also performed a factory reset of Homey, hoping this would fix the timeout error when installing/updating this app. Unfortunately, I still have the same problem; I get a timeout when I try to install this app. :pensive: All other apps from the app store install without problems, so it seems this problem is related to this app. I’ve also tried deleting the app from Homey before the factory reset, but this didn’t help; it still won’t let me install it again. :disappointed: I have the app from before, but I am stuck on version 3.3.0.

Hope someone can help with this, as I have devices supported in the newer versions. Help is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately it’s not problem related to this app, me as developer can’t even influence install process except of min. compatible firmware version - nobody else reported this issue so far.
Btw, last question maybe, you are on latest firmware with your Homey, min. supported version for this app is 12.2.0 ? If you are on latest or compatible firmware, please contact Homey support.

You are really on 3.3.0 ? Because this version was already introducing min. firmware version. So I guess Homey firmware version is not really an issue for you.

Breaking change: subcapabilities have been replaced by new capabilities available since Homey firmware 12.2.0. In some cases this might break your flows. You will have to update them with the new flow cards. This release also contains a fix for setting the fanlevel through a flowcard for the Advanced Mi Air Purifier MIoT driver and a fix for the Xiaomi Smart Tower Fan (dmaker.fan.p39).

Hello again.

My Homey firmware is version 12.3.2.

Yes, I am currently on version 3.3.0. I have had automatic updates enabled the entire time, and it appears they stopped after version 3.3.0. I have contacted Homey support regarding this issue.

Can someone tell me if this humidifier works with this app? There are so many types and names that I’m having trouble figuring it out.

Model: XIAOMI MIJIA Xiaomi Smart Humidifier 2

Thanks in advance!

I don’t have it myself, but if it’s this one - https://www.mi.com/global/product/xiaomi-smart-humidifier-2/ -, you can check for suitable driver in Supported Devices · shaarkys/com.xiaomi-miio Wiki · GitHub - in case of this device, search for Smart Humidifier 2 (model MJJSQ05DY), which is recognized in the integration as the deerma.humidifier.jsq2w model → Use Mi Smart Antibacterial Humidifier MIoT driver

Oke THANKS !

This fix (3.4.13) works great. Thanks.

The application seems not working correctly for the Pet Feeder 2

  • i set the Pet Feeder 2 with a static IP address.
  • using home bridge, I retrieved the token and the IP address
  • I added the device. Up to here all seems OK. the device is identified as a Mi Smart Pet Feeder 2 CN (xiaomi.feeder.iv2001)

the issues I have are the following:

  • the battery property seems not being retrieved correctly - the icon remains with a question mark
  • any change in the properties interface is rejected, a red error message is displayed.
  • I created a simple workflow just a start and then feed 1 portion. nothing is happening.

is the Pet Feeder version 2 supported as indicated in the recent revision history ?
thanks a lot for the support.
