@ObelixNL When My UniFi Protect camera (G5 Turret Ultra) detects a person, a vehicle or an animal, it leads to a clear notification through the UniFi Protect app on my phone. (it regocognizes the right object).
But when I use the triggers in a flow on my homey (with the Homey UniFi Protect app), all triggers (vehicle/person/animal), it always leads to a Homey notification “animal detected”. Somehow the Homey Protect app does not translate the soource Protect trigger to a Homey protect trigger.
How can I fix this?
I fixed it with a workaround! You can use a webhook. In the protect app under alarms you can make a new alarm that get a Webhook. In the homey flow you can start with a logic card webhook event.

For those people who use webhooks to trigger security based flows please do this wisely. Even local webhook is open for whole local network so is highly insecure! @ObelixNL can U fix those missing cards for locks?
Its working on my configuration without webhooks, its all secure and internal. I have looked up with some people and its almost there configuration fault. They can buy personal support with me.
I using Unifi NVR Instant with latest stable version in combination with Nuki (Matter). I don’t use any webhooks and NFC/Fingerprint is working and also Doorbell ring.
Your Homey must on the same network as your unifi controller, don’t use VLAN’s when you are not a network administrator. Don’t use multple routers or public IP/hostnames and use a local account with rights.
Check the settings page, you see a status page and for NFC/Fingerprint and Doorbell websocket must be connected.
We did many installations en they still work today.
The websocket message does not sent any usefull information, I will look in the next weeks if the V2 websocket does sent more information about faces / names.
Ok so what card are u using for a trigger? Previously I used “When lock unlocked” and works. Now card is missing. I can open door via homey but I don’t see trigger card. Im using G3 Access reader and use Face as unlock.
I recently started using Homey Pro. Is it correct that my protect camera streams cannot be viewed externally via the Homey app? The streams work fine within my local network, but when I’m outside my home network I only get a black screen with a loading spinner.

I have some questions:
- Access Flex Reader only work, when a camera is connected, is that correct? Tested the „door access event“ and it worked only, when i connected a camera to the reader. is there a chance without camera?
- => additional question for that “door access event” is only an positive event? it doesn’t start with false credentials, right?
- i tested the „keep door open for x minutes“, but it seems not to work. It openes the door (and keep it open), but after the 1/5 minutes, it still stays open, until i say „lock“. (i‘m using Flex Reader, Door Hub Mini and magnetic lock for that)

how do you run successfully snapshots or live stream from G5 torre cameras?
