I’m having a issue with the snapshot image quality, the snapshot in Homey seems to have very high compression loosing accuracy for example for license plates.
When taking a snapshot from directly in Unifi Protect, the plates are readable and the file size is bigger which would make me believe that the compression rate is lower.
Is there a way to improve the image quality for snapshots in the Homey app?
Workaround: Enable anonymous snapshots on the camera local settings page by accessing http://camera-ip/ user ubnt / pass is the recovery code available in Unifi Console / Protect / Settings / System.
Now it is possible to use Image Grabber to fetch a current snapshot from http://camera-ip/snap.jpeg. The image is then at highest quality and full resolution.
