will this app get support for the ubiquti amplifi HD
Doubt it. The amplify is not a unify product and doesnât even have a local admin mode. Thereâs a settings website which doesnât even cover the basic settings (they are all in the app) but only advanced ones.
Itâs an entirely different product.
Also, there hasnât been a new amplifi product in years. They might let them die in favor of their unify devices (e.g. dream machines with integrated wifi).
I migrated from the aliens to unifi as well. Itâs worth it for setups that require more than 1-2 wifi APs.
I got it working with UniFi Network 10.18.9.
The issue was not actually the credentials. In my case, the fix was:
-
set the controller port to 8443
-
restart the UniFi app in Homey
After that, the connection worked.
So if anyone gets âInvalid credentialsâ even with the correct username and password, try 8443 and restart the app.
Canât get the app to connect.
I have my UDM Pro on my main-lan, 192.168.200.0, whereas my Homey is on my IOT-lan, 192.168.30.0. I have read the posts here that Homey and Unifi must be on same lan.
However, the Unifi console can be reached on 192.168.30.1 - so even that the Unifi is on a physically different lan, it acts as a device on the same lan as the Homey.
I also crated a local user, with a super long username and password. Tried to use default as site-id, as well as the one which I can see in the URL when connecting to the console.
Therefore I was wondering what I can do to get this work.
Switch action cards:
- Type on the
Cylce power on...-card, should be Cycle⊠- It is twice. The second is probable this
network_switch_power_on_port

No, this app does not work at all unless you are willing to downgrade Network to year old version. You canât login as it always says invalid credentials. None of the advices here works for latest Ubiquiti Network.
Well i did manage to connect to UniFi OS Server v5. but as i was saying, i could not get it to work with the LDAP identity Provider configured in Unifi OS Server v5. so removed the configuration of the LDAP server and then the Homey Unifi App can connect to the Unifi OS Server again.
âHi! Iâm using your UniFi Network app. I noticed that the tag âVerbindingsâ is still in Dutch/English for Spanish users. Could you please update the translation strings to âConexionesâ or âEstado de conexiĂłnâ in the next update? It would help the Spanish community a lot. Thanks for the great app!â
Thatâs true, the integration works only with local users at the moment. When the integrations API has the same functionality we are going to move to the official integration.
Yes, this app does not work with latest UniFi Network (10.3.58), donât bother. Says invalid credentials all the time. It would be nice if it could be flagged on the main page, so people donât waste time on it.
It works because I have it installed and it works very well for me, except that there are some words that need to be corrected or translated into Spanish, because I use it in Latin America.
App works perfect with the latest version of Unifi OS. Please read the manual and use a local user without 2FA and Homey and Unifi OS device must be on the same vlan.
You can buy support when you have problems with login.
And where am I able to find the manual. Is there a manual of how to setup the connection precisely and step by step?
Itâs on GitHub. But donât bother if you are on latest hardware. The author doesnât even know the difference between Protect and Network. You wonât be able to login when youâre on latest Network, even when you have local user, no 2FA, same VLAN. It simply does not support latest UniFi hardware and latest firmwares.

You can also make your own app / integration ? If you can do it better ?
Strange then how it is working just fine with Unifi Express + local account. Ui is 9.something
Thanks, you was first, I have tested it with Unifi Network 10.3.58 and everything is working fine? Also with a clean install.
The manual is for UniFi OS when you use the UniFi Network Application is almost the same.
Can you check the latest test version?
Iâm sure that itâs user error, but, I need to ask. Iâm having trouble with my credentials on the configure screen. I put in my credentials and click the Test Credentials button. Homey declares them to be wrong.
Your Homey app version: 2.5.5
Iâm using a UDM7 router with a U7 Mesh router added. The Ubiquiti network console on my browser shows version âNetwork 10.4.57â. That should be the latest at this time.
Iâve double checked my Unifi credentials by logging out and then back in.
