I have the exact same problem with my gateway max, I followed instructions from the creator off the app but the problems stays. I also solved this with a nightly restart but couldn’t find the problem
did you tried waiting longer, In my setup it takes a good 5 minutes before the disconnected state workes
Ha ha , yeah i waited 13 hours and still connected ![]()
Looks like the last AP that was used is still informing the device alive, while it is not connected.
Maybe this is an issue in de Unification Network app, and not this app, I did not had this before like this.
hey Mike, what happens if you use “verbinding verbroken”, in my home this works perfect, so good that i have this time delayed beacuse ele it would trigger things when I am going to the mailbox or back of the garden where there is nog wifi
Perhaps related, but is it also possible to add a “Connected during….” and “Disconnected for…” ?Adding the option to trigger a flow only if a device has been connected or disconnected for a set period of time.
Hi, I would like to ask whether is it possible to add support for MLO to the App cards?
In last days, with my new UDR7, I was debugging a problem why device stopped updating RSSI/Signal info randomly after several minutes, and suddenly after a few minutes or even an hour it started updating info again, and then randomly stopped again, etc. Interesting was that TX/RX bytes were being updated without a problem. Then I spotted in UniFi that one band, for example 6G, has equal signal to what shows Homey device, but at the same time 5G band was changing the signal to how I moved my smartphone around the house. I don’t know why one band is not updating and the other one yes, probably because it’s not used at that moment by the smartphone, or if it is the UniFi bug. The result is that Homey App is fixed to a single band (first in the list?) which may give inaccurate result when WiFi7 with MLO is used.
Example:

Thank you
Later I will buy a WiFi 7 access point and debug this, I hope we are getting more info from the websocket so we can create separate sensors for it.
Is this actually working for someone with UX7 (Unifi Express 7)? It always says “Credentials are invalid.” when trying to setup from Homey.
I have a local admin user, console is running on port 443, I can successfuly connect to it (from browser) using an IP on HTTPS and the local admin user, but from Homey, it always says invalid credentials. I verified that the IP and port is correct and the port is open and listening. I also am sure that the credentials are right.
Therefore UX7 is not supported?
Same problem here, unfortunately.
Tried again after I posted here, works now. Make sure your password (not the user name) is longer than / at least 32 characters.
Unfortunately it doesn’t work for me. I tried long usernames (the upper limit is 30 although the UI tells you to use 32+). I tried password with 32 characters. Nothing works. I’m able to login through the IP and port from the browser normally.
Is Homey and Unifi on the same vlan? and local account?
Are the Ports correct? I tried different Port Numbers and forgot to reset to the one we should use (443). Try a 32+ password (Not exactly 32) and a shorter username.
Has to be a config issue since it works here.
Yes, I have only one VLAN. I tried to write a simple HomeyScript to see whether I can access https://IP/login of the Unifi from Homey and it’s accessible (though, I do get an warning about self-signed certificate being used).
Do you have special chars in the username or password? please try to remove them first.
HI all,
There are several topics around connecting unifi to homey but no step by step guide including printscreens. Would someone be so kind to give a clear step by step guide how to connect Unifi with Homey. Other topics say you need to create a user specifically for homey but then I still have many tabs to fill with to me unknown info.
What to fill in the site text, pull method or interval. How to create a new user account specifically with homey since you need to link it to an email apparently. Can’t seem to find any precise guide for this and this is the main app I have purchased Homey for.
Me and probably many others would be very grateful when this guide will be written and shared. Hopefully someone here would be so kind. Many thanks in advance.
Check Admin and then Local Access Only
Still not working. I get the message incorrect login within the homey unifi app settings.
@Tim_Wortman we deliver paid support, i think you missed one or two checkboxes. You can send me a DM for it.
