[APP][Pro] SolarEdge + Growatt TCP modbus

Indeed sdongle can only handle 1 at a time, Emma way more expensive can handle more at the same time and does it all in a few seconds compared to sdongle which can take a minute.

The app has disappeared from my homey and can no longer be installed. Does anyone have an idea?

Is Homey firmware up to date?

There have been app updates today

What do you mean by ā€œcan no longer be installedā€? Are you getting errors? If so, what are they?

I go to the app store and click install " Solaredge + Growatt TCP modbus" bot nothing happend. No error etcā€¦ The was installed until yesterday.

Yes, firmware is 12.2.1.

Have you logged out from the app store and then back in again?

Similar issues occurred in cases when the app needed a newer firmware version compared to the one installed.
The app store mentions this in those cases:

Requires
Homey v12.1.0 or newer

But this doesnā€™t seem the case here, and also your firmware is up to date.
So I donā€™t know what could be wrong here.

I see you got reply from the app dev @ git as well

I donā€™t know why, but now I was able to reinstall the app. The devices were all recognised again, only the meassurements for the last day are missing. Very strangeā€¦

test version only , I am adding more inverters like double huawei with sdongle , sigenergy and sungrow string inverter . maybe you can switch to normal version, that will be updated once a month or so. did not update for months.

no clue maybe that is the way with major homey upgrade. upgrade and reinstall all apps.
but indeed was looking at these dashboards but was not convinced I need to add it.

I looked add the widgets with insights and current data . But defaults ones are ok, so I keep the current homey version

Hello Edwin,

Thank you for adding Sigenergy support!

I immediately contacted my installer to enable Modbus TCP on my system, which now should be done.

But it doesnā€™t work when I try to add the device.

I take the the IP address from my Sigenstor in the app, so the Port or Inverted ID must be the issue.

Can you give me any help how I find what values to put there?

Thanks in advance!

@Hass - Ask your installer for a print screen on your parameters. But default should be these. The IP address you have already!

Good job @Edwin_Biemond with the support for Sigenergy system. I follow the updates and test continuously.

For future can you add PV1, PV2 and PV3 as separate data elements to be able to monitor the differences between the solarpanel strings.

For future can you add a polling interval parameter to control how often to read from the Sigenergy system, what is the interval now?

The two Energy data elements is empty and does not provide any data! what is the intention with these, what registers you try to read?

Thanks for the reply, but I was actually able to resolve it. I forgot to isolate the system in the router like Iā€™ve done for my other IoT devices. Once it was isolated, Homey found it instantly with the default values (+ IP of course)

Hi,

Iā€™m trying to do a quick & dirty peak shaving with delay. What is the number for the stop command?

Iā€™ve got a Sungrow inverter.

Mats

now it is 15 sec , will add the current and voltage of pv1,2,3
very impressed by sigenergy , super fast and can handle more modbus connections at the same time.

what do you mean by this , what are the labels?

keep it on 5000, I think with stop this does not matter

@Edwin_Biemond I mean these two are never updated

can you remove and add it again. you have an old version. sigenergy does not do daily and total pv on modbus
