[APP][Pro] SolarEdge + Growatt TCP modbus

can you send me a report. maybe they are doing 2 actions

also saw it on my side that when I did battery control , it worked when solaredge or their nightbatch approved it, it worked after a few days.

sure:

I checked it myself , mine is working on my 2021 inverter, without reverting it.

you did 99% or not , rest is the same. So it looks like they don’t want you to change this remotely.

I did not put that om 99%.

It keeps going from 99 to 100 at this moment

that is weird. can you put it on 0 on the inverter and send me again report

b6024aca-f0d9-4632-8b0d-ae83b8adb411

when you do this from the inverter , I see powerreduce = 0 and not active power.

powerreduce 0 xxx Power Reduce

maybe because the inverter is not producing power?

I can do it again tomorrow when power is produced. Now the inverter is in sleep mode
Shall I do this again with power limit to 0% tomorrow?

yep or you did the wrong menu item , but else I can also add power reduce also to see if that works better.

In this report the power limit is on 100%
6c8f57c1-3a6c-4e83-a151-bc1fa8ef785d

and this report active power limit is 0%

Dear People.

I am running a Homey Pro (2019?), using Solar Edge + Growatt TCP modbus.

PV: Converter Sun 1x6000,1x4000 (logial 1unit), wirde Dongle (RJ45), Smart meterDTSU66-H, Battery Luna 10.0000

Config: IP-Adress of Converter, Port 502, ID 1

Problem, I See several data but not all. especially Battery % are missing). Ideas are appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Felix

thanks looks like you use power reduce instead of active power. Can you ask solaredge which 1 is best and what is the best.

in the mean time I will add power reduce for you.

I think I fixed that last week on the test version , can you test this 1 instead SolarEdge + Growatt TCP modbus | Homey

What do you mean?

I use active power limit, you see the pictures.
I am not setting the wrong one am I? I don’t have any other active power settings then those

yes, looks like it so I will add power reduce also. Maybe now solaredge prefers power reduce instead of active power.

I have contact with SolarEdge on this e-mail adres. marketing@solaredge.com

But I wonder why you don’t use the SolarEdge app to shut down with negative prices. You can insert all the info you need.

Hi,

I want to be in control. I want to decide the time or amount I would like to lower the export or production of my inverter. Not because an outside party decides that it is time to shut my inverter down of limit him because they feel like it.

I want to control this locally between my walls, and not externally.
Maybe I will disconnect the inverter from internet in the future and then that external solution wont work anymore.

SO many reasons for me to be in control and not someone else.
