[App][Pro] SmartThings Community (was the HCS version 2) Live 2.0.28, Test 2.0.33

I have published a new test version. This prevents the polling interval going above 60 seconds.
I have also changed the polling to fetch each capability sequentially instead of in parallel. That will hopefully reduce hit on the CPU by spreading the load a bit more at the expense of efficiency.

Thank you for your fast technical support and cooperation. What advice can you give on setting the best value in the polling interval time seconds to prevent further possible issues?

It depends on how many devices / capabilities you have added and if you have a Homey 2019 or 2023. On my Homey 2019 I have add, 8 devices, one of which is my washing machine which has quite a few capabilities and my Homey is very happy with polling every 5 seconds.
But the app should increased the interval if Homey struggles.

I have the Homey Pro 2023 model and I use a Samsung washing machine with WiFi/app capabilities, 14 smart plugs from Tapo (type P100) and 13 light switch modules from Sonoff (type ZBMINIL). The ZigBee range is not that high so I use bridges that are connected through the eWelink app. But the polling time in the Smarthings app in Homey keeps extending to a way high value which makes the devices unusable (when controlled by hand on the switches/plugs it doesn’t show in Homey) If I change it to 15 seconds, it ads multiple 55555 after it. The Tapo app itself in Homey is not working really well and is not accurate. If you press a plug, the app does’t register it and stays off a lot of times. But the The Smarthings integration instead works really well with both products. I use the plugs and switches only for on/off functions.

OK, that is a lot of devices. Have you update to the new test version?

Yes, all devices and sub hubs are the latest version. The dedicated apps works normal. Tapo, eWelink and Google Home works normally.

Just to clarify, is the Home SmartThings app on version 2,0,30?

My apologies, it’s still on v2.0.28. auto update is turned on. Is it possible to manual update.

Yes, as it’s a test version you need to install it from the app store. Find the app in the store and then add test to the end of the URL. You will see a warning about it being experimental, but that’s fine.
Install the app over the top of the existing one and it will keep all your devices, etc.

I see, I’m sorry, I will test the new update v2.0.30 fix. I updated to this version now.

First, thanks for this app! I was able to connect two TRVs that are on my ST hub. Question / request on this integrations:

  1. could you add the temperature sensor in the icon overview
  2. could you add the temperature sensor in the device overview
  3. the device overview doesn’t change from color when you increase the temperature setpoint above the measured temp

Thank you, I have update to experimental v2.0.30.
But the interval seconds keeps adding up multiple ‘555’s’ after I put in a reasonable time. 5 second makes 5555, 15 seconds makes 15555, 60 makes 60555 after a moment when changed. What is best to do?

That’s really strange. Are you using the mobile Homey app or the Homey Web App?
Could you try using the opposite app to see if the issue still persist?

I tried both ways. App on mobile and web app on the computer. If changes are saved after a few moments it changes with multiple 555’s after the previously saved seconds.

Could you open the Log tab and enable the log, then once the list populates, send the log.
