[APP][Pro] Powerview- Luxaflex & Hunter Douglas

I am running the Powerview App version 2.7.9 and Gen 2 Hub and Blinds.

I installed the hub:

However, when I go to add the shade, I get the following:

Here is the diagnostic report: f2f6c7da-5205-450b-817f-a517a053d2a1

I saw someone above had this issue and the version update fixed it. I am at the latest version. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

@DaChNic will have a look!

@DaChNic found the issue will make a fix tomorrow

@DaChNic can you share the type of curtains you have for:

  • Upstairs Office Shade
  • Dining Room Shade

Hunter Douglas parkland blinds

@DaChNic ah sorry I was not clear. What type of shade is that? dual motor single motor? rotating etc

I believe they are a single motor that rotates the shades. They do not lift the shade.

@DaChNic thanks, this model was missing in the config, so the app couldn’t control them. will add

What do I need to do to get the fix? Thanks!

@DaChNic for now: waiting :stuck_out_tongue:

I didn’t finish it yet due to some complications hopefully I manage this weekend!

Not a problem! I’m fairly new so didn’t know the process.

I appreciate your being so responsive!! PLUS, it’s a holiday weekend so enjoy it! I’m in no hurry.

Thank you!!

At this time I have to restart Homey every few days because this app just stops working. Last times this happened I also restarted the Powerview hub but Im not sure if this is required to make it work again.

Nothing has changed in my network, I have no idea what I can do to prevent this.

@Mark_Wittens please send a report when this happens

At this moment it doesn’t work, already restarted Homey and the Powerview hub

@Mark_Wittens already responded to your report. But the ip address of your Powerview hub in Homey is not correct and therefore it fails

Can you send me a pm with what IP you see? I see the same IP it always has had, and always worked.

Maybe this will help others, so here’s what fixed it for me:

In my case, the Powerview hub was connected via wifi, I found an option in the hub to fix the ip when connected with a cable so I did that and set the ip there (even though I previously already fixed the ip in my router and I’ve never seen it using a different one than expected).

I’m not sure using the wired connection or setting the option in the hub did the trick it but at least it works now and I’m not touching anything anymore unless it breaks again :slight_smile:
