Hi @Eddie_klusser
Please explain your issue.
Only sending a code is not that helpful
@Eddie_klusser as far as i see in your logs you should update your IP address in the Powerview hub in the device settings in Homey
It was quite hard to configure the module. The gateway was only findable with ip adres ending with .031. Afther restart i was lucky to find my screens. Ater this i had to remove the 0 of the ip adrss. Now the only problem still occurs is that the module couldnât find my scenes.
@Eddie_klusser because the ip is not correct. According to your report.
So make sure to set the proper ip
You can verify if the url is correct by filling in your ip and go to this url: http://192.168.178.031/home/scenes
The above link is your current IP which you set which looks in correct
@martijnpoppen according to your todo list:
it says Homey SDK3 on your todo list.
But if I check the app on the store, it says thereâs Homey Pro support:
Is it just a not updated forum post?
Iâm currently investigating what to buy. And if I buy something I need to know that the Homey integration is properly working.
Thanks for your answers in advance.
@Quakerix ah i didnât update that post indeed. Itâs available for all Homey Proâs
Edit: update the post
Edit2: fyi If you see that a app requires Homey 5.0.0 or higher it will be a SDK3 app
@martijnpoppen And is a hub required or can the curtains be connected directly?
@Quakerix you need the hub. Iâm talking with HD to check if it possible to talk via BLE, but my guess is that will not happen.
So yes, you need the hub.
This week I received my shades and only now found out that a hub is needed although:
-The shades are controlled by BLE through the smartphone app
- HP23 has Bluetooth capabilities.
So I would think that transmitting the right messages would control the shades. What is preventing that?
Hi @Dick_J
Yes the requirement of the Hub is listed on the app page:
The PowerView hub dictates the BLE communication. Currently thereâs no support to do this via BLE via Homey. I already talked with Hunter Douglas about that but currently thatâs not possible
Hi, I recently purchases several Sunway shades. I have connected these via the Powerview app and also want to integrate this with my Homey Pro. I have installed the Powerview App in Homey. Choosing to add a device via the Powerview app (in Homey), lets me choose between several types, e.g. an Powerview gen 1 & 2 hub or a Powerview gen 3 Gateway. When I choose the latter, I am ask to provide the IP-address for the Powerview Hub. Then, after the installation is completed, my shades do not appear. Can you help me with this topic. Is this perhaps a software error (not asking for the IP address of the gateway but of the hub)?
Maybe you have to add the âPowerview Gen3 windows covering (requires gateway) too?
indeed, that seemed to do the trick. And removing the Homey Pro from ethernet and connecting it to the same WiFi network as the Powerview Gateway.
I have the same problem. My homey is connected to a LAN network and the gateway to the wifi. Is that a problem?
Hi @Mike_Bouwman
Please reproduce the issue and send a diagnostic report
I have a code for the diagnostic report:
C3B787D8. Does that help you?
Kind regards,
Mike Bouwman
@Mike_Bouwman this is an English thread. Please translate your post
The report youâre sending is for Athom employees
You can find the diagnostic report option at the apps section in the homey app or webapp
@martijnpoppen
If all goes well, I have now sent a diagnostic report to the app developer. the code for this is:
