I don’t expect an update earlier than next week, most of the team is out of office due to the holidays and the samples haven’t arrived yet. But I’ll keep you all posted.
I have the same problems with two MS605. I used the Homey App on my iPhone and the last step fails at every try. Integration in Apple Home works but when I try to share Matter code from Apple Home to Homey I get the error again.
I have exactly the same issue here with my 2 MS605. I upgraded them using the native Meross application but It doesn’t solve the problem. I have different devices (Nuki, Lafaer) connected to my Homey Pro via Matter over Thread and never got any issue with them while the MS605 always fail at the last step when trying to register them in Homey.

Same issue here with my MS605. Always get an ‘‘unable to connect” message by the end of the process when connecting via Homey Pro. I have never had problems connecting my other Matter over Thread devices to my Homey Pro. This is very disappointing ![]()

Just got the MS605 samples and I can indeed replicate the issue here. Gathered all the info and shared it with the development team to have a look at.

For everyone asking about the Meross MS605: we’ve identified the issue and are in contact with Meross to resolve it. We’ll keep you posted.

A fix has been implemented, and we expect to release an update in the coming weeks. The issue was caused by a problem in Meross’ Matter implementation. We’ve built a temporary workaround on our side, while Meross is also working on a proper fix.
Anything sooner than few weeks? I have 2 bricks in a box I cant use it until this solution. Thanks
Make sure you enable experimental updates in the Homey Developer Tools to get access to the updates first
Home Assistant Community app is a great alternative until the devs get caught up. Been successfully using it since I received the sensor.
Lucky I found this thread, I was already losing my mind trying to connect the MS605. Hopefully Meross actually cares about its customers and doesn’t drag this out for months.
Hi all, happy to share that I’ve just pushed the first version of the Meross IoT library for Node.js to GitHub and npm. This library will be used to expand the official Homey app with both local and cloud connectivity, which I’ll start implementing next.
I’ve already tested a wide range of devices, but I’d love for you to take the Meross CLI for a spin and see how it works on your end. All instructions are available in the README on GitHub.
