There is a native app on the way
You haven’t offended me, I just get confused as to what people are expecting, when they send me demanding messages or passive aggressive messages about how this free application isn’t working for them.
@Jamie, hi. First of all, thanks for this great app.
Question; I read in this topic that there should be an option to add delays. However, I cannot find that option in my settings. Has this setting been removed? I’m using Homey Pro 2023.
[BUG] Making changes to groups through the “Repair” action does not work when one of the devices is missing!
I love this app and consider it a must for my rather large installation, but whenever a device is removed, any group it is a part of stops working and I cannot repair it.
Hi Anders.
I have a simular prob. it works on startup and just out of the blue it stops working and some of the devices are missing in the repair overview. Even if it says 4 devices are grouped only 3 or 2 shows.
When i add the missing 1 or 2 it just adds to the numbers of grouped devices. and it is stil not working. devices still missing in the repair overview.
Your exact problem is actually not very similar, and it is mentioned several times in this thread. Adding “missing” devices will not work, restarting the app does and it is probably the quickest fix, albeit a temporary one.
Personal opinion, but it seems like nightly reboots causes more problems than it solves, and I wouldn’t be at all surprised if you would have less issues with this app if you just let Homey go about its business uninterrupted.
What helped me was that I had groups in old format (from old group app) and recreated the groups and deleted the old groups. After that I had no issues anymore.
The app Flow Checker is then very handy to use before and after the change to see if you have missed a device in a flow to change to the new group.
I am grouped all my door and window sensors so that if any One sensor is open(alarm) for more than 5 minutes my flow will turn off my air conditioner.
Do All have to be open for this to work? Currently it does not seem to work when 1 item is open. And not completely sure if it is your app or my air conditioning app that is not working.
I have a problem with your app since it will not switch on/off the telldus plug 312538 Freq.433.92MHz when I use the Telldus app to implement the plug to Homey.
I have the exact same problem, and restarting this app does indeed fix the issue for a while.
One or more lamps in a group of 6 randomly stops working. Repair shows that these lamps are no longer visibly selected, but it does count them as part of the group.
These lamps however keep working individually, just not as part of the group.
To the developer of this app; thank you for creating this app for free!
Hi @Jamie , sorry to hear that you have not received any donations for years. Just transferred some money (second time and well deserved) so you can get an extra beer or something else to your liking.
